Passport Operation Hours Extended!

May 16, 2022

Effective May 16 2022, our Murdock office at 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL 33948 is extending operating hours to process passport applications. With this change, the passport operating hours for both the Punta Gorda Justice Center and the Murdock Administration Building will be the same - Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Back on June 1, 2018, we started passport services in the Murdock location from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, giving Charlotte County citizens an additional location to apply for their passports. Now, due to high demand, we extended operating hours to assist our citizens. We proactively look for ways to provide better, more efficient services to our local residents.

If you need to apply for a new passport or renew a child's passport, please come visit either of our office locations. We also provide passport photo services at both office locations.
